The main sections of our web site cover:
Our PA hire services cater for most common requirements. All our standard PA systems include delivery, set-up, and collection, and our Concert PA Systems also include production crew. We have a range of sound and audio-visual equipment, with or without lighting, from basic public announcement sound systems to full concert rigs, suitable for:
• Live Music Events
• Weddings, Private Parties, and Social Occasions
• Public Speaking, Corporate Functions and Audio-Visual Presentations
• Sports Days, Horse Shows, Dog Shows, and similar indoor or outdoor events.
All our PA systems are comprised of fully professional industry-standard PA equipment*, and we specify the make and model of everything you can hire from us (we don't just say "500W loudspeakers"), allowing you to make fully-informed comparisons and decisions before you hire. You can find further details of our equipment in the PA Equipment subsection, and if you require any other information - full technical details, manuals or other documents - that you cannot locate there, or on manufacturer websites or elsewhere, please ask us.
We can also provide equipment for customer collection and return (also known as Dry Hire), including any selection or combination of:
• Microphone Hire
• Mixer Hire
• Effects Hire
• Amplifier Hire
• Loudspeaker Hire.
To complement our principal rental business we provide a range of related services, including:
• Sale of new and used PA Equipment, as well as complete PA Systems
• Training for Sound Engineers
• Sound Engineering
• Technical Services
• PA System Installation
• PA Equipment Repairs.
Even if we can't provide what you need ourselves, we may well know someone in the industry who can, so please call us if you would like our help in finding what you are looking for.
The PA Basics section includes information on Sound, a PA Equipment Guide, some notes on Production and Touring, and a Glossary of Terms commonly used in working with PA systems.
If there is anything you need to know about PA Systems generally, or about any particular item of Sound Equipment, we hope you will find it here. If not, please ask.
Here you can find a bit more about who we are (and read some of our customers' comments), or check out the promoters, performers, bands and venues we have hired to and worked with. Any public gigs featuring our PA systems or sound crew will be shown in the Events Diary, and photos of past events are added to our Photo Gallery as they become available.
We are very happy for you to take independent advice about anything we say or offer you, but please feel free to ask us for advice, even if advice is all you require. Full contact and other relevant information (including copies of our current insurance certificates and other legal documents) is provided under this section.
You can also find the terms that apply to your use of this website (which will have no effect if you are simply looking at pages, but which you may need to consider if you intend to make further use of the contents).
This section includes a Site Map and other site‑navigation tools, and we hope you can find what you are looking for fairly easily.
However, if you can't find what you need to know anywhere on the website, would like to book a PA system for your event, or have any other questions or comments you would like us to consider, please contact us directly and we'll do what we can to assist you.
If you would like to look for similar suppliers to compare quotations, most aspects of our business are classed as Sound Equipment Systems by both paper and online telephone directories.
If you were looking for Astral Sound, please note that Astralsound does not intentionally have a space in the middle.
