A professional-standard Allen & Heath small-frame mixer

The Allen & Heath MixWizard 16:2 - unlike other "16-channel" rack-frame mixers - has 16 full mono channels. It also has everything else a professional mixer should have: full EQ (four-way, with two swept mids), six independent auxiliaries per channel, phantom switches on each channel, 100mm faders, and comprehensive prefade and bus metering and headphone monitoring facilities. It also has its own onboard effects section, with a useful selection of reverbs and delays. There is also a (dimmable) gooseneck light, so you or your engineer won't have to work in the dark.

The mixer is supplied with a 30m 16 + 4 multicore, as well as  an experienced sound engineer to set it up and run it.

A CD player

With varispeed and autocue functions, the Tascam CD160 is ideal for setting up, for backing and special effect tracks, or for background or intro music.

A rack light

If you have ever had to operate a desk or effects rack in a blacked-out auditorium you will appreciate the Phonic PPC 8000E rack light & power conditioner (1U).

A reverb unit

The Alesis Midiverb 4 (1U) is a well-specified multi-effects unit. It combines comprehensive programming options with an intuitive interface and clear display.

The Behringer MDX4400 packs four independent channels of gated compression into 1U of rack space.

The Behringer Composer Pro XL has less channels, but more control.

A graphic equaliser

No professional PA system should be without a decent graphic. The dbx 231 (2U) provides 2 x 31-bands of EQ at +/-6 or +/-12dB.

We can supply other microphones, effects units and processors  if necessary (please ask us about this).

•  A compact but powerful controller-driven front-end, comprising:

Two Martin Audio S15" bass speakers

Each S15 handles 500W continuous, 2,000W peak (AES). The way bass is supposed to sound!

The Martin Audio Blackline F10 loudspeakers are simply the best in their class, but don't just take our word for it: listen to them! 300W continuous, 1,200W peak (AES) 10" + 1"

Two amplifiers

One for the bass speakers, another for the tops.

Each QSC PLX1804 amplifier provides 2 x 550 Watts (FTC, 20Hz - 20kHz, 0.05% THD) with the loudspeakers supplied.

A fully-featured system controller

The dbx DriveRack PA ensures the system delivers optimum performance, providing a programmable crossover with comprehensive speaker-protection, EQ and feedback elimination facilities.

Ordinarily this will be pre-configured, but it is packed with functions (including a 31-band Real Time Analyser and auto-EQ section), so solutions are available for most of the  front-end problems you are ever likely to encounter.

This system does not include monitors. However, a  monitor system can be added to the small concert system (see our prices page for different combinations), comprising:

Up to two dbx 231 graphic equalisers

One 2 x 31-band graphic equaliser is included with each pair of monitor mixes.

These are the same as the front-of-house graphic, ensuring consistency of operation and effect.

Up to two QSC PLX1804 amplifiers
