The 1.6kW Social/Disco PA System

...is designed for weddings, private parties or other social events. It combines microphone mobility & high intelligibility with the extended bass response needed for high quality disco or dance music. This PA system is adequate for events with between about 50 (teen drum 'n' bass) and 250 (wedding party) guests.

Delivery, set-up, take-down & collection can be provided without extra charge anywhere within a 15 mile radius of Stroud. Extra delivery charges may apply over greater distances (see our prices page for details).

As well as all necessary power, microphone & loudspeaker cables, it includes:

• A radio microphone

Sennheiser evolution 100 Series (with a choice of headset, lapel microphone, or handset with e845 capsule).

• A CD/MP3 player

The Denon DN-C615 is simple to use, but has advanced facilities - including varispeed and autocue - if you need them.

• A mixer

The Allen & Heath WZ3 12:2 is an excellent professional-standard small-frame mixer. With 8 mono + 2 stereo channels it has all the facilities and controls you need, but is simple to use as a simple level control if that is all you need to do.

• A graphic equaliser (2U)

The dbx 231: 2 x 31-bands, +/-6 or +/-12dB, with high-pass and bypass functions.

If you need to deal with feedback, or simply to change the overall tonal balance, this makes it easy to do.

• A fully-featured system controller

We set the dbx DriveRack PA to ensure the PA system delivers optimum performance.

• Two amplifiers

One for the bass speakers, another for the tops.

Each QSC PLX1804 amplifier provides 2 x 550 Watts (FTC, 20Hz - 20kHz, 0.05% THD) with the loudspeakers supplied: enough to deliver a full and powerful sound without distortion.

• Two 10" + 1" mid/high loudspeakers

The Martin Audio Blackline F10 loudspeakers are simply the best in their class, but don't just take our word for it: listen to them! You'll be amazed at how much such a small box can deliver.

• Two 15" bass speakers

Martin Audio S15s: the way bass is supposed to sound!
